  amazing we made reservations last minute Friday (tonight ) and I was blown away best restaurant in meaford by far (loved the old restaurants pizza aswell and the kept it but this is our first time eating in the new restaurant which was called kiwis)

  We were visiting a family member from the GTA and decided to make reservations just in case. Last minute, we opted to come an hour earlier since we were in the area and they happily accommodated us. It was a Friday evening and every table was taken except for the one set up for us. The actual decor of the place felt like a family friendly diner although the dinner menu reflected a more traditional Italian restaurant. Our server was a real sweetheart and walked us through all of the menu was a beaming smile. Two of us required gluten free options and the menu was clearly labeled with a little "GF" logo for all our needs. She was conscientious of our food allergies and made every effort to make our experience fantastic. The food was a little pricier than we had anticipated, but it was worth it for the overall experience. The gluten free pizza was one of the best we've had and we have tried a lot of varieties in the Toronto area. The shrimp pasta was a little bland; however, we were also limited to the sauce offerings due to our food restrictions. Some of the other foods could have used a bit more flavouring. Still, the portions were large and we would definitely stop by again if we were in the area. The service was fantastic and we loved how cozy it felt.
